Instructional Designer - Analyst / Sr Analyst (SubCon)




Position Description


We are looking for a rock star Instructional Designer to join a growing Learning and Development team with a focus on developing innovative learning solutions and applying best practices. This role will play a key role in the design and development of multiple modes of learning (i.e., Instructor Led, Virtual, and Self-Paced/ eLearning) using best in class tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, SAP Enable Now, and uPerform). The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.


Under the direction of a Training Lead, the Senior Training Developer is responsible for the following:


Planning and developing training curriculum based on training needs analysis developed by the Training Lead.

Development of training documentation using his or her review and understanding of system and process design and through proficient use of Training Documentation tool(s) (e.g., Articulate Storyline, SAP Enable Now, and uPerform or other), and following development standards set for the project.

Applying standards to allow integration of training materials to a Learning Management System.

Development of instructional courses relating to Enterprise systems (SAP, Infor, Oracle, JD Edwards, ServiceNow, Workday, etc.).

Applies time management and project management skills to deliver excellent course materials while adhering to project timelines.

Promptly identify issues or risks to the Training Lead and recommend solutions.





Should have significant experience working with multiple Training Documentation Tools (e-Pak, U-Perform, Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate 360, Assima, etc.).

Bachelor?s degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Three to six (3-6) years working with training development for enterprise systems.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience designing and delivering instructional courses.

Excellent Knowledge in Articulate 360 or Storyline 3

Excellent Training Development and Design Skills using Training documentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

Creating storyboards and developing self-paced training / eLearning.

Ability to analyze information from a variety of sources and determine end user training needs.

Ability to understand software driven business processes.

High-level understanding of basic business processes in enterprise software (Finance, Logistics, Human Resources).

Excellent time management skills.

Deep knowledge of instructional design principles and technologies.

Strong communications skills including exceptional writing ability

Experience in working independently and remotely with Subject Matter Experts.

Strong attention to detail.

Strong English communication skills; both written and spoken.

Schedule flexibility due to global reach of projects.
