Short Description


Senior Engineer/ Engineer of Accessories and Fixture Concepts is responsible for the development of assigned  accessories and fixture concepts for assigned  models  within Hero MotoCorp

His release responsibility covers conceptualisation, design and development of assigned accessories  and mounting designs for all body components. He is responsible for ensuring design quality including durability, fit and finish, body ergonomics and manufacturability while meeting all functionalities.


He is responsible to optimize the development process to meet all the agreed projects targets concerning product, timing, quality and cost beginning from the pre development phase up to EOP.


Key Responsibilities


Design and development of mountings for all body parts including the supporting parts for other body parts i.e. tank, plastic body parts, evaporative emission parts like canister, ROV and OWV and mounting arrangement. This includes meeting the time , cost, legal requirements and spec quality targets.

Design and development of mirrors, locks, grips and metallic bodies including the supporting parts and mounting arrangements. This includes meeting the time , cost, legal requirements and spec quality targets.

Formability, serviceability, manufacturability and ergonomic analysis of all related parts.

Creating design standards and standard operating procedures

To freeze the requirements and get agreement on QCT parameters for assigned accessories in consultation with all stakeholders.
