Roles and Responsibility :

The Trucks Electrician who specializes in the electric systems contained within Trucks vehicles. Trucks Electrician is an expert on all of the systems in the trucks like (headlights, diagnostic lights, alarm system, circuit board, alternator and starter motor Diagnoses, tests, adjusts, and repairs automotive, truck and construction equipment, electrical and fuel supply parts, systems and accessories; and does related work. ?etc.) all fall under the Trucks Electricians domain of expertise.




Roles and Responsibilities

1.         Check and support to all the electrical issues.

2.         Assemble install test and maintain electrical or equipment electrical wiring apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.

3.         Inspect electrical system equipment and components to identify hazards defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.

4.         Test electrical system and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring equipment and fixtures using testing devices.

5.         Repair or replace wiring equipment and fixture using hand tools and power tools.

6.         Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as pumps trucks etc.

7.         Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment measuring device power tools and testing equipment including oscilloscope ammeters.

8.         Cleans, tests, diagnoses, adjusts, repairs and overhauls and assembles distributors, generators, alternators, rectifiers, starters, magnetos, mechanical and solid state voltage regulators, electric and vacuum windshield wipers, air conditioning systems, carburetors, fuel pumps, and other fuel injection systems; electronic controls on auto and truck transmission and ignition systems, parts; traces open and short circuits; repairs and replaces defective ignition and lighting wires;

9.         Tests coils, condensers, on-board computers, computer-controlled engine systems, emission control systems, gauges, instruments, electro-mechanical hydraulic systems, air-conditioning compressors and controls, heating systems, distributors, and other electrical parts; tests ignition circuits and sets timing; tunes engines, and road test automotive equipment for proper performance; may repair 110-volt generators and regulators, wheel balancers and small electric tool motors; may completely rewire fire apparatus and other vehicles; may repair 220-volt motors and heaters, rescue breathing apparatus, stationary and portable engines; may install wiring outlets; may install service, troubleshoot and repair portable and mobile generator units, and appurtenant equipment for use on transportation vehicles; may install, repair and test vehicle pollution control devices.

10.         Installs, repairs, and replaces lights including emergency lights; adjusts headlights; repairs and replaces gas and oil gauges, ammeters, switches, and fuse blocks; installs, repairs, and replaces horns, sirens, and heaters; services storage batteries; uses testing devices to inspect alignment, beam deflection, and intensity of headlights; may make emergency automotive electrical repairs in the field; uses small lathes, drill presses, bench grinders, engine analyzers, compression and vacuum gauges, and other tools of the trade; writes requisitions and draws materials and supplies from the stockroom; and occasionally may be assigned to other duties for training purposes or to meet technological changes or emergencies

11.         Determine malfunction of electrical system through inspection of vehicle and equipment;

12.         Repairs or replaces defective wiring in ignition, lighting, air?conditioning, and safety control systems;

13.         To update maintenance records on a daily basis;

14.         Install electrical equipment such as gauges, lighting, alternators, and install electrically operated accessories;

15.         Read circuit diagrams to find electrical faults, adjust engine control systems and timing to make sure vehicles are running at peak performance.

16.         Checking and testing wiring and parts in older vehicles using portable instruments

17.         Researching faults, using manufacturers? circuit diagrams and specification manuals repairing or replacing faulty parts retesting the system to make sure everything is working correctly and safely (this may include road testing the vehicle).

18.         Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.

19.         Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.

20.         Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.

21.         Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.

22.         Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

23.         Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.

24.         Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.

25.         Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

26.         Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed


Non-Essential Roles and Responsibilities

1.         Doing routine maintenance reports for machines.

2.         Paperwork ? any and all related requirements.

3.         Housekeeping, maintained daily.


Safety Requirements 


Perform all safety related items as per the Company Safety Instructions

1.         Learn and maintain all general housekeeping and ensure daily performance

2.         Report all accidents and incidents immediately upon them taking place to your direct supervisor


Desired Candidate :
  • He should be having experience in Diploma ( Electrical ).
  • Have relevant experience in Ready-mix Concrete Industry.
  • Age should be less than 45 years.
  • Current location should be in UAE and ready to work/relocate in Fujairah.
